Ariel and Bernice are Dolls in the service of Madame Oreille.
Appearance[]
The girls are identical, with long blonde hair and red eyes. They wear purple dresses over white blouses and striped black and white socks. They have a black bow in their hair.
Personality[]
From what little has been seen of them, they, much like other Dolls, have shown themselves to speak tonelessly in an emotionless manner. From their apparent closeness, along with their looks, they also possibly share something of a sisterly bond.
Abilities[]
Remote Viewing: As Dolls, Ariel and Bernice possess the innate ability to use observer spirits. They use other Dolls as the medium for their observer spirits.

Ariel and Bernice report to Oreille.
As they are traveling in Oreille's car inside a tunnel, the girls inform Oreille of the awakening of Suou Pavlichenko's Contractor powers, at a Russian train station, with the two telling Oreille that "the end has begun."[1] Some time later, Ariel and Bernice tell Oreille that they "found it", prompting Oreille to say that it is time for the trio's wish and her wish to come true.[2]
Through their observer specter, Ariel and Bernice spot and watch July and Suou. July notices them and tells them to keep it a secret. They in turn as him to keep them a secret and cause interference with Section 3's Doll Surveillance Network to allow Suou and July to proceed unfettered. The following night, along with Oreille, they witness the moon reappear over Tokyo, commenting on the beauty of the moon as they watch its emergence.[3]
Ariel and Bernice tell Oreille that they have been found.
In Oreille's apartment, the girls discover that Section 3 has located Suou, July and Mao. They inform July of this and an escape route before telling Oreille this and that their current location has also been discovered.[4]
They are also responsible for leading Oreille, July, Suou and Misaki to the old route once used by Hei to reach the Gate, and oversee the activation of Mikhail Pavlichenko's supercomputer. After events at the Gate conclude, their apparitions run off, apparently to observe a third, recently created Gate.
