Part in the Story[]
The Black Contractor[]
When Hei arrives at their apartment building, Misuzu mistakes him for the repair man and ushers him in to fix the television that Hei is eventually able to explain that he is there about renting an apartment and she shows him to his flat. She frequently chases Mao away from her building as he reports to or summons Hei.[1] She tries to keep the other residents in check with their drinking and partying and applauds Hei for being a diligent student and worker, trying her best to keep the others from dragging him down. When Kenji Sakurai kicks down the door to one of the apartments, she makes him and the other residents fix it before preparing a large dinner for them all. Misuzu comments that because of their multinational origins, she is fluent in seven languages. This prompts Toshiro to spit out the rice he is eating in surprise at her comment.[2]
When Gai Kurusawa and Kiko Kayanuma visit their building in search of answers to a questionaire about the old stars, Gai asks Toshiro Ōyama about them. Misuzu dismissively says that Toshiro is mute, but he shocks her by speaking at length about a time they watched the stars when their daughter was still in grade school.[3]
Gemini of the Meteor[]
Misuzu is present in Shion Pavlichenko's alternate world. While she is outside her building sweeping, Suou Pavlichenko rushes passed her and says hello to her.[4]
