Toshiro Ōyama is the husband of Misuzu Ōyama.
Appearance[]
He is an old man with glasses. He is balding with white hair around the sides and back of his head. He has a moustache.
Personality[]
He speaks very rarely and mostly tends his plants.
Part in the Story[]
The Black Contractor[]
When Hei arrives at their apartment building, Misuzu ushers him in to repair the television. Toshiro largely ignores them and continues tending his plants.[1] When Kenji Sakurai joins the residents of the aparment complex for dinner, Misuzu comments that because of their multinational origins, she is fluent in seven languages. This prompts Toshiro to spit out the rice he is eating in surprise at her comment.[2]

When Gai Kurusawa and Kiko Kayanuma visit their building in search of answers to a questionaire about the old stars, Gai asks Toshiro about them. Misuzu dismissively says that Toshiro is mute, but he shocks her by speaking at length about a time they watched the stars when their daughter was still in grade school.[3]
